Egg bound hen: is there anything else I can do?

Thank you everyone for your input advice and suport. She is sleeping now. I think she is past the point of no return. If she has strength tomorrow morning I would like to try again. But I dont want to prolong pain for her if there's no point. Wishing all of you, and your hens, health and happiness XX

Give this thread a read. I explain how I got the eggs out. Bare in mind, I think you will want to keep giving your hen calcium daily and the pain killers will be very helpful as well.

Thank you, that was a very interesting read. Strangely she is eating and drinking today so I am going to give another try to the calcium and bathing.
