egg bound hen, need suggestions

One of my girls was walking around like a penguin last night. I did some research and this morning, brought her in, put her in a warm bath, all the suggestions I could find. I've got her in my dog crate with food and water but nothing is happening as to the egg that I think is stuck. Is there anything else I can do for her? The bath was about an hour ago, and I know it said it could take a while for the egg to move, but it's making me nuts watching her. Try another warm water bath? How long should I wait. She was fine yesterday morning when I fed them their breakfast, they were all jumping around and looked great. Problem began sometime between breakfast and 3 pm when I brought them their fruit. Any suggestions or should I continue waiting?

I've not dealt with egg binding personally, but friends have. Most will bath them and gently massage their abdomen. Then put them some place quiet and peaceful. Some will even put a little bit of lubricant just inside their vent (using a small syringe) to help the egg come out a little easier. They give them about 24 hours to lay the egg and check on them the next day.

I was afraid that waiting was going to be the thing to do. Thank you for the reply. I will keep an eye on her and see if anything happens. I'm just not good at waiting. I've had chickens for almost 10 years now, and never saw this before, so it's making me nervous.

I completely understand! I like to be proactive about things and waiting feels so ineffective.

Maybe YouTube videos on what else can be done if the bathing and waiting doesn't work will help pass the time. I did a quick search there and see there are many available videos.
