I'm sorry for your lossHello. My update comes with sad news. I had to cull my girl. She made a stellar effort, but sadly, no egg, yellow discharge from the vent, comb white, and unable to stand after three days. She stopped eating all together. She made a final effort to leave the coop and free range only to be attacked by the other birds.
After more research, it seems she may have had water belly, which I understand is genetic and common in meat birds and older laying hens.

I'm just now reading your whole thread. If you were feeling 3 palpable "eggs" then likely she was not egg bound, but had a reproductive disorder. Egg Yolk Peritonitis, Salpingitis, tumors, cancer, etc. can be common in laying hens. Complications with masses in the abdomen can bring about symptoms of Ascites (water in the belly).
Some common "causes" of reproductive problems can be from genetics, damaged reproductive system from infection, history of respiratory disease and diet (too much fat around the organs/in the abdomen).
With supportive care, some hens can recover for a short while, but sadly they end up declining. I've been there. You did everything you could for her.
