My Polish hen, Miss Betty is usually flighty and all over the place. She was fine yesterday and then this morning she came outta coop and was lethargic and not moving. Til I got home, she wasn't moving at all and had her eyes closed.
Checked her vent and couldn't see an egg. I used some Vaseline to lubricate and tried to massage. Soaked her in a warm bucket of soapy water and massaged again.
Now I dissolved some tums and got that in her which she took and I have her under warm light. She's barely hanging on...and I love her dearly. I'm fighting to keep her alive. Anyone have any other suggestions?
