My girl is egg bound, we'll I think so, I'm new. She is waddling, much less responsive, her vent feels like there is something (I think, didn't want to touch to hard or too much) and she is eating very little. Hasn't layed in 2days,although she is a fairly new layer. Also to be said that it's been 99degrees out today, they have plenty of shade and a shallow pool to cool down. But even then she was laying down and closing her eyes.
I've given her calcium citrate as suggested on other posts. Question is: how long does it take to work? Gave it to her at 7pm. Just leave her until the morning? Or should I give her a Epsom soak now?

Can you post photos of her and her poop?

Is she pooping?

Good that you gave her Calcium Citrate, give her one once daily for a week.

Make sure she's drinking and staying hydrated. You can give her a little sugar water or electrolytes.

Timeline? It can be hard to know. If she's having trouble laying an egg, then hopefully she'll be able to expel it soon.

I would not soak her, that can be stressful.

I'll be watching her tomorrow and will post feedback. She was calm after I gave her die calcium and did poop once, very runny.
Will do the electrolytes tomorrow for sure.
