If you have her body, would you be willing to send it in for a necropsy? Most states charge a minimal fee, and you'll learn a lot of what might have caused her death.

Oh, I'm so sorry. I know how hard this is.

I know you are grieving right now, but I agree about the necropsy. I've had necropsies performed on all my beloved ducks who have passed. It has provided both closure and valuable information for the rest of my flock.
