Egg Candeling on day 3...?

Upon first seeing it I assumed there had been a Terra-dactyl in my backyard.

i have candled my eggs at day 3 and i could clearly see heart beating and veins running like spider web . I have 3 silkies light brown eggs and 6 sablepoot eggs

When my hen went broody she would not leave the nest at all, I had to lift her off the nest every two days so she wouldnt foul the nest (had it happen twice) I had to put her food and water next to her beak when it was evedent after a week she wasnt eating or drinking, when the first egg hatched I took her off to check the others for any signs of hatching from the other four eggs and they had all pecked the shell but she fouled the nest really bad, all the eggs and the baby chick were covered, I gently cleaned the baby with warm water and the other eggs, the other four hatched and were fine (lost one at 3weeks and another last week due to cat/dog) Most determined broody I had ever seen, she simply wouldnt get off those eggs on her own!!

I have also candled at day 3-5 and can usually at least see something going on - esp if the eggs are white or tinted.....brown eggs...not so much. It's not huge or anything in the white eggs but I can see the start of veining and maybe a tiny dark spot on the yolk the veins are starting from...baby blob.

Just a question to all of you .
How many of you candle the eggs daily?
Does candling the egg hurts or damages the chick inside the eggs ?

I am a newbie on hatching eggs from an incubator and I am on my day 5 and I can see eye and blob material in them. But I am concern as I could see the heart beating on day 3 but now I can not see any of them as I only can see black spot (assume eye) and a bit of mass around it .
It it normal that the heart get hidden while chick gets bigger?
As my eggs are in brinsea mini incubator so when I open the dome to rotate the eggs I quickly flash a light through to see what is happening ( I do not hold the eggs in hand to see inside ) I leave them on the tray just flash light from side of the egg, is it Ok to candle the egg every day just to get info on development every day ?
