it's been 5 weeks and when i candle the egg it is solid with little veins. Is it still hatch-able? My little bantam is doing the hatching

If it’s been 5 weeks they’re dead. They’re chickens right?

It looks like at least half of the egg is air cell. If it has actually been 5 weeks. I would say there is nothing viable left in that egg. The contents are probably drying up and shrinking.

Here in southern California, the weather is very hot, But the coop is well ventilated. Don't know why all the eggs died

Found these two today in the Coop dead, Had no idea the egg hatched. Can you tell me how many days these chicks are? Probably got hatched when I posted this forum.

Just found another one under their Surrogate mom Chirping alive and well. How do i take care of the little baby, Do the hen feed the little one?

I would make sure they have safe access to food and water. Hopefully her nest is at ground level and the chicks can easily get in and out...

If momma hen would let you, you can take the chick and dip their beaks in water so they can start drinking. apparently some momma hens bring their chicks to food, but are not that good about bringing them to water.

Alternatively, if you think the hen is neglecting the chick (or that she killed the other two). You can attempt to brood it yourself. in that case you’ll need a brooder, an appropriate source of heat, food, water (make sure its shallow so hey don't drown) and bedding. If the chick is the only one, you should get her some friends, or she will be lonely and chirp up a storm out of misery
