Any suggestions on making a homemade egg candler

I agree. A high powered LED flashlight works perfectly well for me.

The LED light works great. Very handy and doesn't cost much.

I use a LED light from Harbor Frieght and it works great. Or take a lamp, cut a circle into a metal can and put it over the top of the light bulb and use that.

Cut a round hole,smaller then the egg, put a light (flashlight should work) hold the egg up to the hole. Cheap and easy

Put the flashlight in one end of a toilet paper or paper towel tube and set the egg on the other in a dark room. I have no idea if this works on dark eggs.
