Egg Candling

Hi just wondering how many days after incubation do you candle eggs? Its my first time trying to hatch. I set off 6 Ancona eggs 23.2.18 I know its early days but just wondering when to check them.

Generally speaking day 7 is the point at which the 1st candling will reveal what you're looking for.

And if you have green eggs, candling's pretty much a futile endeavour. I've seen stuff in white eggs by day four/five, though.
