Egg candling

It’s my 2nd time incubating goose eggs, we candled them and now one is left. Its air cell looks healthy but a dark mass only fills half the egg. We can see a beak/foot in the egg and think it’s alive. It’s day 23 already. Is it alive?​

maybe too early to tell. Why not just return the egg to the incubator, provide optimum conditions and wait?
