Im in need of some help please, Lockdown starts tomorrow and i'm debating on whether or not to hatch out of cartons. Can someone please post pics of what the cartons you are using look like, and how you are positioning the eggs in them. Thanks in advance.

so just put them in there just like they sit in the incubator? do they hatch ok like this???? the only reason im thinking of doing this is last hatch half of my eggs pipped and didnt hatch, and i think its because of the soccer match the ones that hatched early had.

This is actually the first time I'm incubating and I made that incubator. I read the cartons were for easier cleanup and like you said, to keep the others from moving the eggs around. I made an egg turner and set the egg carton in it. For lockdown, I'll be removing the egg turner and setting the carton with eggs still in them on the hardware cloth that I covered with that rubber shelf lining.

it was just hard to watch over 12 of my 30 eggs pip and not hatch with perfect humidity and temp, dont want that to happen again.
