Have Chickens Small Carton Problem

There is a carton that I find fits most eggs. It has “posts” that are located at the corner of each egg hole. It makes the carton tall enough for the insanely big eggs.

I find the clean, used extra-large egg cartons generally work.

Are they even bigger than extra-large? Try Jumbo.

I was mistaken on the placement of the posts. Regardless, the large cartons are taller than a typical extra large.

I have two hens that are laying HUGE eggs like that and not double yolkers! I couldn’t believe they were a single yolk when I first started getting them!

Curious, how much do those eggs weigh?
And does the tall post type carton fit the eggs?
I have one RIR pullet who lays really long skinny eggs. Look like torpedos & getting bigger. She's just under 8 months old now.

I think all but an occasional “ouch! “ egg from a duck has fit into those cartons.
