egg cartons?

Chukar paper trays...I use them to ship large coturnix eggs, with a little TP stuffed in the bottom. If you want some, then PM me!

Unfortunately...There are no COTURNIX egg trays/cartons on the market...At least none that I can find.

Thanks Valley, those are the trays I have. I use them for shipping, with a single square of TP folded once into a triangle and placed on the bottom of 2 holes. I place a sheet of the large bubble wrap on top, followed by a a flat piece of cardboard secured with a rubber band, because even large coturnix eggs will jiggle around if I use another tray to top them off.

I have to send in an order to GQF later anyway so I will get some Chukar flats then. I just want to have some on hand. Never know UCDavis may call and want some of my eggs to study.

I need a way to package them.

I didn't know the blue Quail trays flipped. Where I got my eggs from used them and the eggs fit real tight. Mine are just a hair bigger than his that I hatched.

I figure the Chukar will be to big but better than chicken egg cartons.

Yes, the small 10 pack cartons are fine for storing even the larger eggs for eating, and in most cases, fine for shipping. If you have a wide range of sizes, put the larger eggs on the outside and you should be fine.
My fridge is full of these.

Avoid the clear 24 packs for this obvious reason

I use the ones that hold the dozen with the flat type and it is the only ones I will use

WHy? Because I use toilet paper and bubble wrap as well. I don't just stick the eggs in. Here are pictures and explanations. I have MANY happy customers
