Egg cartons....

Okay, so I saw a picture of someones eggs hatching and they had their eggs all in egg cartons for the final hatching process (where the eggs hatch) is this better then letting them be on their sides in the incubator? or worse?

I think it might be better so that no one crushes another egg but the lack of space for the egg to move looks like a danger sign.

I tried that and did not like it (IMHO), I watched an egg hatch and it jumped completely out of the carton, chick shell (both half's) and all landed next to the egg carton. IMHO I also think this is an unnatural position and IMHO caused problems. I will not do that again, I am no pro!
