Egg CLEANING any suggestions??

I don't wash mine either. They are rarely dirty and if they are I just wipe them off.

Hello,
If the eggs are too dirty or stinky I wash them in warm water and a tbsp of vinegar so they dont get the cartons dirty. The more u scrub the bloom off the faster they spoil, and they absorb bacteria and/orsmells from the refrigerator.

For calcium suppliment I rinse the egg shells off, bake them till they are dry, let them cool then grind them with a coffee grinder then sprinkle it on their food. In the past I made them homemade bread (birdy bread) and put the crushed up egg shells in the bread. It helps them absorb the calcium better and if they have grit you probably can skip the grinder step, they are easier to store in the frig as a powder
