Wanted to share my experience with my colored egg layers since I’ve found varying stories online. I’ll be referencing the photo.
The left most egg & 3rd from left are from the same bird, a BCM. The 2nd & 4th from left are another bird, also a BCM. Both of their first eggs were the lightest and they continually got darker until they’ve reached the darker colors in the photo.
The middle 2 eggs are from a hybrid chicken who may be part Maran.
The 3 blue/green eggs are all from 1 Easter Egger, she normally lays very consistent colors these are the most different of all your eggs. And the last white one is just a Silkie egg, they’re always white or with a pinkish tint and little to no variation.
