I've looked for the answer and can't find it so I figured I'd just ask. I saw a chart explaining what you get if you cross dark layers to blue layers but what if your roo is a white layer? I have EE, OE, and dark brown layer hens, my roo is a white layer breed. Does anyone know what that will do to future hens egg color?

Example: EE x Maran = OE
OE x white layer = ????
Maran x white= ????
Thanks

In my not-so-vast expereince, a white layer just lightens the color of the other paren't gene.
White layers x green layers--light mint green.
White layer x medium brown--light brown/cream.
