Egg Customers re: Today's Shipment...

alrighty spackled

i canr keep nuff birds of my own,,, so i need some eggs,,, everyone is buying up my mutts lol

so if i cant keep my own mutts,,,, i might as well get eggs from BYC ,, that way i wont sell the chicks

so let me know how much $ and how to get it to ya,,,,, you might even tell me what im buying hahaha

i might read the other posts and see,,, but i doubt it

Hey, Jim, right now, I just have Barred Rocks still, which is what I sent. I did send MissPrissy 6 of my Meg's eggs for her Red Orp project-she's the RIR/Buff Orp flaming red girl I have in with Suede. I think you want the Blue Orpingtons, right? They are still not laying, just one of the pullets laying these tiny eggs. I'll start sending eggs out again in January, as long as it's not too frigid. mags, the only thing I can send till the others get going again are my Barred Rocks.


BTW, you crack me up, calling me "spackled", LOL. I love it! I felt a bit spackled this evening!

Mail box cleaned. They look beautiful. My Jasper looks just like that Cyn. He is one of two that hatched from the 11/5 batch. I keep trying to get pics but it's either raining or dark by the time I get home from work. I will try again tomarrow to get pics. I hear some ice/snow is coming sometime tonight for us.

Speckled hen--My dh insists that if you gently squeeze each chicken's backside several times a day while petting them gently, they will lay more eggs. He should know, he goes out to that chicken house 3-4 times a day when he is off just to see "who laid!" Like he could really tell anyway? And he tells me I have an addiction!
