Hi everyone. I have a leghorn white hen that is about 1.5 years old.She lays everyday and never fails. However some days she will lay an egg with a slight hole in it, it’s in the exact same spot every time. Now somedays she lays an egg with extra build up of shell in that same spot as well, and some days she will lay a completely normal egg with no deformities at all. I’m just curious if anyone knows what would cause this. She is fed layer feed, and also free ranges every evening when i’m home. I have attached some pictures below to give everyone an idea what i’m talking about. :)

Sounds like a glitch in the shell gland.
