Egg Development Illustrations

Here is a project I did last year for showing growth. I did the growth of a chick in the egg. I thought I would share it with my fellow Chicken lovers because I find it some what difficult to find Illustrations of egg development that are simple yet still have detail. I would have had all 21 days but I could only do 9 to fit the requirement of the class. Tell me what you think! Was this helpful? No help?

It helps. I think you should put what day they are. For instance none of the eggs that one of my hens was sitting on turned into a live chick. The majority when I open the egg at day 22+ was like the 5th picture. Knowing what date that was could help me and other identify what could have happened.

I agree with Myby about putting the day of development in each picture. And on the hatchling in the last one you might put the egg tooth in.

I have the days some where. I'll have to dig them up and put them on. Thank you very much . I think I have the egg tooth on the last one. The white tip on it's beak should be there.
