Egg divider for incubator??

I have made several posts like this but I have 41 eggs and they need to be separated and I don't know what to use I looked around the house and nothing I have will really work and I don't know what store to go to buy what I need does anyone have any ideas or advice? Thanks so much!

Separated to keep track of what chick came from what egg? I tried strawberry baskets in my last hatch and they worked ok. This hatch (due tomorrow) I am using boxes I made using plastic canvas and zip ties.

Thanks! I am giving one breed to a friend and a breed is for me but they might look really similar and some are ordered new breeds and some are my own chickens eggs!!

Can you get disposable foil loaf trays or similar? Any kind of container that will fit nicely in your incubator will work. I always hatch in a container because Button quail chicks are so teeny.

I hatched button quail and coturnix quail last hatch and the strawberry baskets worked well except one of the button chicks could squeeze through the side of the strawberry basket, so didn't work well for button quail.

I use plastic trays from the dollar store, they have the holes in the sides and it's like [email protected]

What you can use really depends on the type of incubator/hatcher you are using. I have a cabinet hatcher that has hatching trays. When I have more that need separated than I have trays, I section the trays into compartments using cut to fit pieces of hardware cloth. Others use pieces of plastic that look similar to hardware cloth.

my incubator is a pro series digital forced incubator it sounds very fancy and high tech but it is just a nice incubator that has 41 chicken egg slots in the egg turner and is pretty big I like it!
