Egg divider for incubator??

A paper towel wouldn’t work right because it would get wet
I use the kitchen shelf liner that looks like a grid made of squishy foam plastic, sorry for the weird description but I don't remember what it's called. It's pretty grippy and helps the chicks keep traction, and you can sanitize and reuse it too. I got mine at Walmart and it was around $5-6 or less for a whole roll. Just do a search for kitchen shelf liner and you should find it.

Depends on the paper towel and what kind of bird you are hatching. If the paper towel is slick or non textured don't use it. If the paper towel has texture you could probably use it for chicken chicks or coturnix quail chicks without problems. Paper towels are too slippery for button quail chicks, you will end up with splayed legs.
Cloth towels with texture would probably work for all kinds.
