Okay so our hen EE, stopped laying after we moved the coop. No biggie, she was prolly stressed. Our hen Orpington started laying. No biggie, we got the brown egg and went on with our lives. Next day, Orpington was in the next box. Again, no biggie. I got the egg from out under her, and went on with my life. I then loked and found ANOTHER egg slightly lighter but still brown, no biggie, maybe it was from the day before and she just didnt lay yet, maybe a little strange but still, no biggie. Well today I found 2 brown eggs, biggie cause unless the orpington layed 3 eggs in 24 hours, our EE is laying brown egg. We have some pullets, but its not a pullet egg cause its the same size as our Orp's egg, so, heres my question
WHAT IS CAUSING THIS? I thought Egg Drop Syndrome made the eggs WHITE, can they make it BROWN? She used to lay GREEN eggs, not BROWN!!
