egg eater by the second egg?

I found another egg in the same spot as the broken one and thankfully it wasn't broken. I definitely think the hen's laying from the roost. I just had put more bedding in and I think that's why it didn't break. Since it wasn't cracked open they weren't interested in it. Mine appears to lay first thing in the morning so I'm going to be sure to check the house carefully before I go to school and let them out. I've got the golf ball in the next box thing but am not sure how I'm supposed to teach them to use it. Every once in a while I put the birds in the boxes and hope for the best. At least now there's a little bit of a pattern happening.
