Egg eaters!!!

I may have to put more boxes lower. Mine are pretty high which doesn't seem to be a problem for some of them, but maybe I will have better luck with some little boxes near the ground?
It's good to hear that they do quit sometimes. I can't figure out which ones are eating the eggs.
I do have oyster shells available free choice, too.

Its hard to know which ones are eating the eggs, I just got lucky one day and saw!

Good news...sort of.
I think they were eating the eggs because a couple of the new pullets were laying ON TOP of the nest box, their fluffy bottoms hanging off the end, and laying eggs! They would fall to the ground, breaking.
So if i can fix that, then I may not have an egg eating problem. Here's hoping!

It's pretty easy to tell which of mine have eaten an egg... they have egg on their faces!!!

The only time mine eat them is when someone lays a soft-shelled egg. It happens from time to time.
