Egg Eaters

Hi everyone, I went out to the coop this morning and I found one of my NH red hens eating an egg in the nest box. Is there anything I can do to break her of this? Or will I just have to deal with it and gather eggs earlier?

I used a plastic easter egg once with pepper in it. Put the pink egg in nest box a few minutes later my new hamp went over and got it I have never had her do it again.

So just fill a plastic egg with pepper and let her go to town on it?
