Egg eating

I have a couple of chickens who eat our eggs. Is there anything that could make them stop?
We try to collect daily but they still eat them before we get to them.
Any recommendations?

I think the chickens might be lacking Calcium. Try offering Oyster Shells.
I use golf balls and 2 or 3 inches of course pine bedding. In the nest boxes.

Blow out an egg, fill with yellow dish soap, chickens can't taste mustard.

They are on layer feed and sometimes are free ranged. And we make sure they have water ever day.

Some of my chickens were eating eggs and occasionally still do. I bought some fake eggs and put them in their nest boxes and made sure there was enough shavings so the eggs didn’t crack when they laid them. Sometimes they will still eat them but overall it’s been better.

We have a couple eggs but still eat there eggs. I will put some more shavings down! Thank you!

Maybe you could give them more calcium too? I hope they will stop eating their eggs!

Dish soap can kill them.

No, it won't. They take two bites and stop, worst case is they get diarrhea.

They can taste mustard, it worked for me and lots of others.

They can't taste bitter or spicy, most don't have any luck with mustard, most chickens like mustard.
