Egg exploded in incubator

Hey all, I just had a jungle fowl egg explode in my incubator I heard it right away and immediately cleaned it up, but it did get on a few other eggs, which I also wiped off immediately. I was wondering if this is a certain death sentence for my unhatched chicks? Thanks in advance everyone.

How far along are your eggs? No it’s not a certain death sentence, but the bacteria can cause some deaths, but hopefully none

Thanks so much for the response! Most of them are pretty far along, due to hatch in a few days at the most.

It’s my first time all in my own at least! Many are at different ages, but I have one chick and one gosling pipped just tonight!

This just happened to me and none of the eggs hatched It had to do with the incubator tho it kept messing up the temp
