Egg "exploding" around other eggs and chicks

I had an egg to explode around other eggs and chicks. What do I need to do? Bathe the chicks? Throw away the other eggs? HELP!

Anyone have any advice about the chicks? They seem to all be fine. I threw away the other eggs and a few exploded when I dropped them in the trash.

You could use a qtip and clean them off as best as possible. My worry would be that there would be bacteria in the goop they got on them, so if it were me I would clean them off very gently. Good luck.
