Egg fertility

Will eggs be fertile from the first matings from young males?
Do you have a way to tell , as in the weight of eggs from young females when their eggs aare ready to be incubated?

No, they won't. Not until the males are consistently mating with the females will they be fertile. If you search for fertile eggs in BYC there is a post where is shows you what they will look like when you crack them open.
