We have an egg that hasnt hatched yet. It was layed on the 5th. its heavy, positive candling and under a very broody hen. What should I do? This is our first fertilized egg.

Has she been sitting on it since the 5th or was it unincubated for a couple days at the start?
I think she'll give up when she senses nothing is going to happen.
However if the incubation did start on the 5th and was continuous and nothing happens by tomorrow it's probably done.

It was laid on the 5th. I'll give it a few days and see what happens.
