It appears to have a slight blood-ring developing. But the embryo was alive last night, it will do no harm to leave the egg in the incubator until you know for sure.

your incubator must be running very cool, it doesn't look much past a week.It would have been two weeks tomorrow. I actually took a video of it moving around last night and it looked perfectly healthy. It is a mallard duck egg.
The temperature has been 99.5 the whole time, and the egg was definitely up to date. No idea what happened...your incubator must be running very cool, it doesn't look much past a week.
Okay, thanks. I am going to check it again at the end of today. It appears to have a slight blood-ring developing. But the embryo was alive last night, it will do no harm to leave the egg in the incubator until you know for sure.
I am so glad I saw your post. I will never toss another questionable egg again. There is a chance that a little one can emerge.I incubated eggs early November and i candled them before I had to put them in lockdown. There was a fully developed chick that had a slight blood ring. (Means they’re dead.) and he came back to life somehow. Anyways, this is him now.
