My girls started laying while I was on vacation, which was about two weeks ago. My DH called and told me, well they are laying in our barn. I just found a dozen eggs in a tool box. Are the eggs still good? How long can they sit out before they go bad? It took me a few days to find their hinding spot. I smelled the eggs and they don't smell bad. I have had to go egg hunting everyday because they free range during the day. Walking in the woods, the barn, etc.
