My second coop finally had a brown egg today . Although idk if it is from my 6 big birds or my bantam light brahma. Does anyone have pics of eggs from bantam light brahmas i could compare to ?

I don't have a pic, but I do have standard sized Buff Brahmas. Their eggs are a very pale brown. And they're on the small size, for such a big bird. A friend who has Light Brahmas told me that in the second year the eggs do get bigger.

Anyhow, maybe the bantam sized brahmas lay the same colored egg as the large fowl.

the lady i got it from said she layed a light brown with dark specs which is what this is but i just felt like it was to big for a bantam

I've never had bantams ,but that looks big for a bantam.

Yeah ive never been around them this one i have is the only one . It was a package deal with some other birds... I thought the same thing .. Maybe if the others start laying ill be able to tell better

well i now know it wasnt the bantam .. I watched her lay today deff can tell compared to my normal eggs
