All my bantams lay a tinted egg, not white like a leghorn's or dark like any of the brown egg layers. It seems to hold true for all bantam eggs I have seen. nad as for the bantam's temperment, it could fall either way. Cochins, silkies, and similar birds tend to be very docile, but the rosecomb I have is feral. But I have heard many people say their rosecombs are sweet and friendly, so it might just be mine
. I have noticed that bantams tend to be friendlier than their large fowl counterparts, especially leghorn bantams.
