egg is mishapen what is onnn

so my 2 year old austrolorp laid an egg in my bath tub today that was smaller than her others and was misshapen with little ridges like it had been smooshed
she is a pet and I wanted to know if I should be concerned and seek veterinarian help. the egg yolks was fine.

Don't worry about it. Sometimes eggs come out a little misshapen or smaller than usual. There's nothing wrong with your hen.

I get weird eggs like that occasionally. It's usually stress near laying time.

WTHeck was she doing in your bathtub?!
If she's 2 years old and you live in the northern hemisphere, she could be ramping down production for molting and winter break. You can get some weird eggs before and after that time.
