Egg is past 21 days

Today is the 27th day. I did the candle light (actually used a flashlight in a dark room) at 12 days and seen veins and 19 days it was dark inside the egg so i know there is a chick. What could be going on?

At 27 days, it's safe to say that that chick isn't going to hatch.

If it is a duck egg you are almost ready to hatch. Duck eggs are around 28 days.
