egg is stuck inside skin and is hanging on the hens bottom

me too they havent called yet and i think its to late for them to call today. i am so glas she is better too but we arent out of the woods yet.

I don't think she will molt this year. From what I have been told, chickens don't molt in their first year.
I hope she gets better soon. It is crazy how attached you can get to these birds. Who would have thought?
She is a such a beautful girl. It's ashame she has to go through this.

ok its about 30 to 45 minutes before the girls usuall go to bed. rosey is laying down should i disturb her with a drink of water and some food before she goes to bed for the night or let her rest?

If she's already eaten alot today then let her rest.​
 
Feed her some more to see what she likes and what she does not like. Offer her a variety of food and morsels like plain cooked spaghetti, rice, bugs, boiled egg and other things that she may like.
 
I don't think chickens ever get full! I would give her some more. Does she has chicken food and water available at all times? I would think she probably should.
