Egg issues.

I have a prarie blue bell chickens she will be 2 yrs in June. She was laying eggs every day but sometimes every other. No issues. Suddenly 2 weeks ago she laid a soft shelled egg hasn't laid anegg since. Last week she was in feed tub where she always lays eggs. She put out a small amount if egg white that was it. I cleaned it up Friday she was up on roost dropped whole egg in floor no shell. This thursday she dropped more egg white. She is out every day she free ranges goes in when she wants & comes out when she wants. Use to go in every time it was time to lay an egg. But now goes un when I go in to collect eggs & do chores & at night to roost. But never to lay eggs. Oh yes she lays green eggs. Ant ideas or suggestion to this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes when a hen is taking a break and the system is shutting down they lay a few wonky eggs. Hopefully that's what is going on. Most green egg layers don't lay consistently through the season. As long as she's eating and drinking she should be fine. Keep an eye on her vent, and clean it up if necessary to prevent fly strike.

Does she have access to plenty of dried egg shells and to oyster shells, especially flaked?

Yes she does and she is out in yard catching bugs & free ranging. I must their dried finely broke egg shells in wirh the feed i put in their feeder also oyster shell. She has access to water when she's in yard as have big rubber bowl I keep fresh for cats & her when she's out which is most of the day

Ok thank you. It was concerning as she's never done this before. The other chickens have laid soft shelled egg but never quit laying. She is out most of day in yard she flies in & out at will. During the day. She is eating wirh no issues & drinking water.
