Egg Layer question

I would agree that all the breeds mentioned on this topic are good layers. I never had a hen that did the kind of laying that the records had, but I had from those breeds and got a lot of eggs. I can tell you for sure that when everything else had gone on stike, the leghorn went right on laying. So sometimes I only had big white eggs. A few times when a hen went broody and it was like a domino effect, and before you knew it they all wanted to brood.....the last broodies were left with only leghorn eggs to set, because that was all I had to offer her.
