But do they breed pure bred chicks because I bought some silkies from them and I was hoping they where pure but they are to young to tell so far

Your silkies are probably pure silkies, just no discretion for breeding and undesirable traits can be mixed in, since they aren't bred out.

Um... The only thing I could tell you, since I don't have silkies, is other than silkie feathers, other than black skin...
Other than that, I don't know.
In the case of your pictured birds... if they called the red ones RIR, or production red, or New Hampshire Red, they're off because they have white feet.

Here, check out this thread. Just popped up for me, but here's a classic example of hatchery quality in any breed; this case silkies.
