Egg Laying - Consistent

I'm starting to get eggs - usually around 1 total a day from 8 hens all around the same age. I have 4 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Barred Rocks, 1 Americana, and 1 Cream Crested Legbar. So far I have gotten maybe 10 eggs from these girls with 8 of them being brown and 2 being blue (from the legbar).

The ladies are almost 24 weeks old now and I'm wondering about consistency. While I'm grateful for the one egg a day - I'm wondering how long it takes for a hen to start laying an egg a day or every other day.

Thanks for any help.

Heat could be an issue right now. I know I am just now starting to get all my girls to start laying consistently again. And with them being newbies at laying it might take a little while until their system gets regulated.

It can take up to a month or so for things to get 'regular'.
'Regular' for some birds lay 6 eggs a week, some only 3-4.
Consistency can be variable or non existent with some chickens.

I thought about this. I have my coop positioned where they get sun all the way up to around 6pm. I'm going to put up a mesh tarp on the side to give them some more shade.

Bielfelder pullet laid her first egg Sunday and I have been checking daily and not seen another, these are my first chickens and I'm not sure what to expect. I've heard they are good layers so I expected 5-6 eggs a week like my Cochin (who came to me as a year old hen and lays 5 days and takes an off day consistently) but now I'm wondering how long they take to get into a consistent schedule?
Edit:
Just ready above post... Apologies!
