egg laying problem.

i got this ameracauna. We got her because of to many attacks a friend of mine, so she gave me her. She said she used to lay nice blue eggs every day, but now she didn't lay and egg since. Unless she was laying them in the woods, but i didn't find any. when will she start laying again? here some picture of her, i cant get to closer she'll run away!

How long have you had her? Chickens stop laying when they're stressed, such as when they move to a new home. I think I've heard 2-4 weeks of stopped/decreased laying is usual, but I could be wrong on the exact time.

Then I'd give her at least a week before threatening her with the stewpot for non-laying.

I got a older laying hen from my dd she lost all the others from attacks. She didn't lay for 4 weeks after I got her. She was stressed from the attacks And the move.

Yes, she should start laying again. She just needs a few weeks to adjust to being in a new place.
