Egg laying schedule.

So my red sexlink seems to lay every other day,so we get at least 3 eggs from her each week. Even though she seems to have a schedule, is it possible for her to just sometimes not follow it? Meaning, if she lays one day can she still lay the next day, even though she usually doesn’t?

Sure, it’s absolutely possible. As you know, some lay more frequently than others but can at times speed up or slow down production based on a whole host of factors; though genetic predisposition plays the biggest part. I find it curious that she’s on such a regular “schedule”. Kinda neat for you to know what to expect but as they say: once you start expecting then expect the unexpected!
