How long until a pullet/hen lays her first egg?

I have a hen that started at 13 weeks old and she's a red star and she lays every day .

Generally 17-24 weeks. Some lay a bit sooner, some later. Depends on the breed - some breeds are slower at maturing.

Your own chickens may vary. You will see them begin to lay more frequently and you will notice the eggs will get larger.

Part of the frequency and size of the eggs depend upon the particular breed of chicken you are talking about.

Your white rock is probably within a few weeks or month of laying -- perhaps a bit longer. Many 'hatchery' breeds are bred for egg laying. I think that the books say Plymouth Rocks lay 180 -200 eggs per year... so nearly every-other-day, once your hen is producing eggs regularly. Perhaps even more.​
