I wish I had a picture but unfortunately one of my housemates ate the egg before I had a chance. But I got an egg yesterday from my white leghorn that looked like a kidney bean... almost like an egg that was bent. It was cute. My leghorn will turn two years old in April so perhaps it could be due to age. She is still a great layer and one of my favorite chickens. I get an egg from her 5-6 days a week.

Anyways, if you got any weird egg stories or pictures lets hear 'em.

I've had all sorts of strange eggs and egg-type things appear in the nest boxes. But the series of tiny eggs, a fraction of the size she had laid in her prime, my five-year old Brahma Lady Di laid last year as she was wrapping up her egg-laying career, were pretty weird.

Did those to eggs have a a yolk? They look TINY. The strangest egg I've ever seen was a shell less. That's probably because my hens are only fifteen months old.
