Reddish one is a male, see 3 rows of peas on comb...plus the screaming red comb color.
Black-headed one is female, single row of peas in paler comb.
NOT the FINAL answer, 'cause ya just never know.

Close, I'm due west of kazoo ~10 miles shy of lakeshore.

Too bad I am directionally challenged. I, too, am WEST of GR, not east as I posted. But I bet you figured that out. And we aren't actually right on the lakeshore. We're on acreage about 7 miles inland.

I did.....I saw 'between Gr and the Lakeshore'...didn't even see the 'east'. Ha!
Life is pretty good in the fruit/tourist/snow belt!
