Egg number 3?

Hey you might have read my other post (3rd Egg?) so if you have you don't have to continue.

Anyway, my chicken Scarlet isn't laying her third egg. She laid perfectly fine for the first and second but when i went out to the nesting box today...to my surprise there were no eggs! Nothing new has happened since today and yesterday. They have the same amount of water, food, grit, and shells. The only thing that could have been different is the heat. We are having this heat wave that is in the mid 90's. Could that have stopped the egg train?

I'm sure the heat has something to do with it my hens don't lay on days over 90

I wouldnt worry about it that is normal. I had one that went over a week before laying her third egg. She will lay when shes ready. It will take a while before they lay consistantly.
