Egg on top of nest.

all the other eggs are perfectly allind in a circle. then there is this one on top is this a problem or do i need to slide it into the nest.

I'd mark it with a pencil and slide it in. That way if she moves it out again you will know it's the same one and can take it out and check it to see if there is something wrong with it.

I would candle it and see how it is. My female always left this one egg on top of the nest and all of the eggs were nicely tucked away in a bowl shape. I finaly checked out the egg and it was bad.

Good thing I got it when I did so it didn't explode on all of the good eggs.

I look at it and it looked ok so i pushed it into the circle and it seems ok so ill see, can't do any harm will post pictures of the newly hatched ducklings.
